Omega is a well built, double-ended 35' Young Sun 35' cutter, similar to the 35' Baba designed by Bob Perry.  Omega is a spacious and comfortable cruiser capable of crossing oceans and living aboard.  This two owner boat has always been in fresh water!

  • Par brand pump with accumulator. 
  • Fresh water cooling system . 
  • Three (3) fuel filters. 
  • One 40+ gallon vented black iron fuel tank with baffles and bronze deck fill pipe. 
  • The engine is rubber mounted for low vibration. Throttle and shift is located on the steering pedestal. Engine instruments are located in the cockpit with plexi-glass door and audible and visual alarm for temperature, oil, pressure, and generator. 
  • Yanmar KH18 2.03.1. reduction gear. 1 1/4" S/S prop shaft.
  • One 12V, 35 amp alternator. 
  • Removable fiberglass engine drip pan. 
  • The engine compartment is fully insulated from the cabin.

Sails and Rigging

  • The nest has a foam liner for sound deadening. all stays and shrouds are S/S 1-10 wire manufactured to U.S.specifications.
  • all standing rigging has swaged fittings.
  •  Upper stays and shrouds are 5/16" diameter, made of bronzed urasheen or stainless steel. Chainplates are 6mm. #316 S/S. 
  • All halyards are color coded of 7/16 and 1/2" diameter low-stretch dacron braid and S/S wire.
  •  all sheet lines are 1/2" low stretch dacron braid. 
  • aluminum genoa track with cars and blocks 
  • Main and staysail sheet travellers and cars. (Nicro Pico brand).
  • all sail tracks, cars, blocks, fitting and accessories are made by Ronstan, Merriman, Schaefer, or Nicro Pic. 
  • Two Barlow #25 2-speed primary winches.
  • Two Barlow #23 2-speed main and staysail sheet winches. (Mounted on the cabin top). 
  • Three Barlow #16 halyard winches.( Mounted on mast ). 
  • Three winch handles. 
  • drill powered winch to raise the Main Sail.
  • Mainsail and staysail are made of 7.2 oz. dacron/polyester. Jib sail is made of 6.5 oz. dacron/polyester.
